            For your viewing pleasure is a very clean and all original 16 inch Panasonic desk fan from the early 1970s.It is a 3 speed and has 5 way oscillation, which way only made by them. Panasonic was started in 1918 as Matsushita Electric Housewares Manufacturing Works by Konosuke Matsushita. The company started out making Insulating plates for electric fans and electrical fixtures. In 1920 they designed their company logo. By 1927 they moved into making small electrical appliances. 1934 saw Matsushita Electric Motor Company start up and they produced their first electric fan in 1936. The Panasonic brand was created in 1955 and in the late 1960s Panasonic started to export electric fans to the United States. In the late 1980s Panasonic stopped producing fans. In 1989 The founder of Matsushita/Panasonic Konosuke Matsushita died. The company is still in business. The fan is 25 inches tall, 17 inches wide and is constructed of metal and plastic. The metal guard is free of any broken welds and is not bent. There are a few places of wear from age and usage. The plastic badge is in excellent condition but does have light wear. The translucent plastic blue blade does not have cracks or breaks but there are a few small scratches. The motor cover or base, which is also plastic does not have any cracks or breaks and is not yellowed.  The fan was oiled and gearbox was greased. It was tested for over 3 hours and operated and oscillated smoothly. Three speed switch functions properly and original power cord is in good shape. The overall condition of this vintage piece is excellent considering its age and usage. It moves a lot of air quietly and efficiently. This is the last of high quality fans made. They don’t make 16 inch fans today nor do they have the quality of these vintage air mover. The fan will be shipped it 2 boxes for safe shipment

   For your viewing pleasure is a really clean 9 inch 2 speed oscillating Galaxy desk fan made by Lasko, which has been producing electric fans since 1955. This one dates from the mid 1970s. The fan is 17 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and is constructed of metal and plastic. The metal guard does not have any broken welds and is not bent. The chrome plated plastic guard is in excellent shape. The translucent blue plastic blade is free of any breaks, chips, or deep scratches. The plastic motor cover and base do not have any chips or cracks and the plastic has not yellowed. The fan was serviced and tested for over 3 hours and operated and oscillated smoothly with no issues. The 2 speed switch functions properly. The original power cord is in good shape with no issues The overall condition of this vintage piece is excellent for its age and usage. This is a great fan for the bedroom. It is quiet, efficient, and stylish unlike today’s fans. For a small fan it moves a lot of air.

For your viewing pleasure is a rare circa 1980 New old stock 12 inch 3 speed, oscillating Crosley vintage desk fan, made by Lasko. It is the model CF12L. The Crosley brand was only made for a couple of years. The fan has never been run. You will be the first to run this Brand New fan. It still has its original price tag of $24.95 from True Value. The box was sealed and opened only to show the fan. It comes with instructions on how to assemble it. The box is in good condition and is still rigid but does have a little staining and tears from age. The graphics on the box still look good for its age. This vintage fan looks stylish and would go with any décor. It would be a great fan for the avid vintage electric fan collector.
