For your viewing pleasure is an uncommon 12 inch 2 speed non reversible Fresh Air Maker vintage box fan made by Schwitzer-Cummings Company of Indianapolis, Indiana. They made electric fans in the 1940s thru the 50s. It is 14 inches wide, 14 inches high, and is all metal construction. It is small but, well built. Its overall cosmetic condition is good considering its age and usage. The color is a two tone pale gray and blue gray. Steel cabinet does not have any dents or heavy rust, and the painted steel guards are free of any broken welds or bent wires. There is very minor paint loss, scuffs, and light scratches from age and usage, but retains over 95% of its original paint. Bottom of the fan is solid with no rust. The steel blade does not have any creases and is balanced. Universal motor has been cleaned, inspected, serviced, and tested for over. It ran very smooth, with no issues. Two speed switch functions properly. The original power cord and plug are in good shape with no issues. This is a very well constructed and hi quality fan. This is a very desirable and hard to find box fan. It’s a must for that avid vintage box fan collector or as a nice working décor gem for your mid century home.
